Thanks for visiting.
This blog has been dormant for over one year. It was written while I lived in Israel for over 6 years, working in wine education, sales, marketing, and writing, among other things. I have returned to the United States to pursue a different avenue of my wine career – in a cellar, making the wine.
I have changed my career more often than I like to admit, but on the plus side, it has left me with in-depth knowledge of several areas, including theatre directing, playwriting, contemporary art, wines and wineries, public radio journalism, single malt Scotches, chocolate cakes, opera, the cosmetology training industry, Anglo-Irish drama and literature, museums, internet start-ups, venture capital, competitive speed carrot and potato peeling, the self-help industry, restaurant kitchens, the complete dramatic works of Samuel Beckett, and the art of international adventure travel.
Please contact me if you’d like: irenesharonhodes [at] gmail [dot] com. It’s quite likely I’ll respond.
Amazing bios hemdati.
You should mention Irene that you are very young. From your background one may assume you lived for many years:)
Love
OK, Mom. To everyone reading, I’m 30. Yes. Not so young, though. But young enough.
Hi Irene,
I met you at the beer expo (the Bazelet line was my favorite!) and found your blog via our mutual FB friends. Nice! Look forward to seeing you at future foodie/wine/beer events!
